What to Expect
Corporate Worship at Crossroads Church is governed by the authority of Scripture. We believe that the Bible is our only infallible rule of faith and practice. When we gather together, we worship our Triune God by reading the Bible, praying, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, preaching the Bible and participating in the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
We have classes for all ages at 9:30 during Sunday School. During corporate worship at 10:30 am, a nursery is available for children 0–2 years old. Children ages 3 through kindergarten participate in corporate worship with their parents until the sermon begins. At that time they are dismissed to thier classes.
Sermon: "Exodus in Genesis: Jacob’s Death, Joseph’s Bones, and Jesus’ Eternal Life"
Text: Genesis 50:1-26
Summary: The ending of Genesis seems a bit depressing: Jacob dies and Joseph dies in Egypt. But the fulfillment of God's promises are certain. Even in death, Joseph knows that God will lead Israel out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. The problem of Genesis 3 will be undone. Death will be overcome and God will dwell with his people once again.
